The International Institute of Medical Qigong is offering Medical Qigong certification programs and Medical Qigong treatments. Our programs offer benefit to the general public as well as Energetic Healers, Acupuncturists, Allopathic Doctors, Psychotherapists, Chiropractors, Naturopathic Doctors, Physical Therapists, and potential Qigong students.

This site provides information on a variety of courses, treatments and educational materials offered by the Institute.

We offer treatments, as well as instruction, in the techniques and theory of this 5,000-year-old Chinese Energetic healing system.

Our Aim is to facilitate the integration of Medical Qigong Therapy into the personal and professional lives of our patients and students.

The Qigong training and certification program offered by the International Institute of Medical Qigong are based mainly upon the curriculum that has been established at the Medical Qigong College at the Hai Dian University in Beijing, China.

We provide the highest quality Medical Qigong Therapy and instruction to promote overall health and well being.

Robert Youngs R.M.T.  M.M.Q.  D.T.C.M.

Director for the International Institute of Medical Qigong (Pickering |Branch). 

Dean of the overseas College of Medical Qigong of the HUTCM. (Pickering Branch)

Faculty member at Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

He is the chief Instructor  for The International Institute of Medical Qigong (Canada.)

A former member of the board of directors for C.P.A.A.M. The Canadian Practitioners Association of Asian Medicine and The Canadian Tai Chi Federation. 

Robert received his Diploma in Acupuncture from the Academy of Acupuncture in 1998, and his Master of Medical Qigong certificate from The IIMQ in 2005. He became a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2005 and received his Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diploma from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009. Robert has been a Therapist at several health clinics in Ontario including a position as a Massage Therapist and Acupuncturist  at St. John’s Rehab hospital, A multidisciplinary  clinic specializing in complex traumatology .
